As music, the English works just fine. Boy, the jury did not care for that. She opened the final night and received 69 points from the jury, thus getting the rights to represent Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest in Copenhagen, Denmark. But I think this one has more layering to it and more content. I must admit that I had problems understanding her English skills.

Zolan, Yeah, the staging for Albania was a disaster, and Kejsi was so awesome too. I was so deeply moved nigght impressed by that, and by Rona as a person. An ok song in Albanian, but in English? That song was brilliant, and Kejsi was bersi.

Since I heard Rona, I sort of feel a bit of positive bias towards Albanian music.
Why do these countries have to go for the most boring, generic, sappy lyrics when they translate their songs? I think they just had no clue what to do with the bizarro Moscow stage but simply be bizarre. But in English the words fit awkwardly with some mahmuja scanning. I love this song.
